The White House and the Washington Monuments

Last week we did many things. We went to the White House and we took pictures and wrote why is the White House white. Then we walked to the white house information center and we wrote all of the history of the White House. Then we went to walk by the Washington Monument and the whole class took a picture in front of the monument, one thing that you can look at this memorial is that there is twoo different colors. The most intersting part is when we went to the big water fountain because one side is the soldiers that lost their lifes in a war against Germany and the other side is the soldiers that lost their life in a war against Japan. The impresive a sad thing that we saw is the large wall with about 58 thousand soldiers loosing their lifes in the Vietnam war. And for last we went to see the Lincoln memorial, this monument one of the most visiting places in DC.
